JIEYANG CITY XINDAMAN HARDWARE ELECTRIC APPLIANCE CO., LTD is located at WEST SIDE OF EAST THREE
STRAIGHT ROAD, JIEYANG AIRPORT ECONOMIC ZONE, JIEYANG, GUANGDONG. The business license number is
91445200668215378B. This is a privately owned company. The total land area occupied by the facility is 1600 square meters,
and the total structure area occupied by the facility is 5300 square meters. They have established and started their operation at
the existing location since November 12, 2007.
[Employee analysis]:
A total of 47 employees including 31 female employees and 16 male employees are currently working in the facility. The ages
range from 18 to 52 years old. There are 40 production employees and 7 non-production employees. All 47 employees are
permanent and 6 migrant employees.
[Structure of facility]:
In view of the facilities, the facility one 7-storey production building as production, warehouse and office; there was no dormitory,
kitchen or canteen available for employees.
The main products manufactured by the facility are Hair dryer. The main production processes are listed as the following:
Injection, Tempo printing, Assembly, inspection and packing. The production capacity is 65000 pcs per month.
[Summary of working hour]:
Attendance records from April 1, 2020 to May 28, 2020 (audit day) were reviewed in this audit. Based on the provided
attendance records, employees worked 5 days per week and 8 hours per day in 1 shift, the normal working hour is from 8:00 to
17:30 with 1.5 hours’ lunch break from 12:00 to 13:30. Finger printing attendance recording system was used for time keeping,
every employee should clock when they went in and out the facility. As per management interview, the peak season is not
obvious in the facility.
[Summary of compensation]:
Payroll records from April 2020 to April 2021 were reviewed in this audit. All employees’ wages were calculated on hourly-rated
basis. The lowest basic wages were RMB 1500 since July 1, 2018 which above local minimum wage standard (RMB 1410).
For overtime wages, 150%, 200% and 300% of basic wages were paid to employees for their overtime hours on workdays, rest
days and public holidays respectively. Employees were paid by cash on or before 30th of each month after a working period.
[Summary of interview]:
Worker interview were conducted by individually and in group.
Randomly selected 6 employees, no negative feedback or complain was raised.
